Langley UMC offers different opportunities to all ages for growing in
our Christian Faith
Adult forum meets at 11:15am Sunday morning in the Fireside Room to discuss a variety of Progressive Christian topics. Grab a cup of coffee and head down!
Younger Kids Sunday School
We will be pausing the right after worship Sunday school for the younger kids for the time being. We want to see our children’s ministry grow, so be on the look out for things to come!
Youth Group is very active with lots of activities going on. Movie and game nights,
field trips and lots of discussions!
Holden Prayer Service and Supper
You are invited to pray and eat together the 4th Friday of the month. We start off in the sanctuary for a short 20 minute service then move up to the Fellowship Hall for a wonderful soup and bread meal prepared by Chef Kristian Bentsen. Call the office for dates during the summer!
There is nursery care available for babies thru Kindergarten starting at 9:45. Nursery children are welcome to attend the beginning of worship with their families and then parents can bring them to the nursery after children's time. Children are also welcome to stay in worship with their parents.
Small Groups
Evolving Faith Think book club - but with folks listening to a specific podcast episode instead of reading a similar book. We're here to cultivate love and hope in the wilderness. We believe the story of God is bigger, wider, more inclusive and welcoming, filled with more love, than we could ever imagine. Meets third Fridays at 6pm in the church lobby. Call the office for summer dates.
Knitting/Handcrafts Group
We meet the First and Third Thursdays of the month at 1pm in the church lobby. Just a casual group and you can bring any kind of hand work you can carry or just come to see what we're doing and visit.
